• UMD sponsors undergraduate research and creative projects through UROP (Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program).  Students may initiate a project and seek faculty mentorship OR may be invited to apply to work with a faculty member in their research or creative project.  Students may receive up to $1700 in funding.
